BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Friday night, you can see several familiar faces from Channel 2 face off in a dancing competition to benefit a great cause.
Suneel's Light, a local non-profit that raises money for research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, hosts "Suneel's Celebrity Gala" Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Statler in Downtown Buffalo. You can buy tickets at suneelscelebritygala.com.
Suneel Ram is the namesake for the charity. He's now 17 years old, but we've done stories on Suneel since he was in elementary school.
Suneel has the degenerative disease, which attacks the muscles and eventually takes away the ability to walk. It is considered terminal.
Last year, Channel 2 anchor Maryalice Demler participated; this year, we're represented by Michael Wooten, Jeff Preval and Lydia Dominick. If you cannot attend, you can donate money by voting for Michael, Jeff, or Lydia.
