Despite the development, the Jacobs family may take part in the effort to build a new stadium for the football, according to a source.
2 On Your Side's Adam Benigni reached out to Delaware North on Thursday, the company said it did not have a comment at this time.
The news comes one day after three sources told Benigni that Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula is preparing a bid for the Bills.
Sabres spokesperson Mike Gilbert would neither confirm nor deny the information, saying only there is nothing to report.
