ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.- One week after an abysmal performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Buffalo Bills bounced back and dominated the New York Jets in a 37-14 win.
Bills QB EJ Manuel was a key factor in the turn around. He went 20 for 28 on the day with 245 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Manuel also did a great job spreading the ball around. Nine different receivers had catches today with WR Marquise Goodwin leading the team on 6 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Buffalo's defense also played a big role in the win, forcing Jets QB Geno Smith into committing four turnovers, including three interceptions. The Bills capitalized on those opportunities, turning them into 17 points.
The strong offensive performance was in spite of a no show performance from the Bills running game. The team ran for a total of 68 yards and RBs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson combined for 40 yards rushing.
The Bills win snapped a three game losing streak and they're now 4-7 on the year.
