BUFFALO, NY - A new era in Buffalo Sabres hockey gets underway Friday night as the team takes on the Toronto Maple Leafs at First Niagara Center.

On Wednesday, the team stunned some, and excited most, with their big announcement that G.M. Darcy Regier and Head Coach Ron Rolston were out, and Pat Lafontaine and Ted Nolan were in.

Friday's game gives Sabres fans their first chance to see Ted Nolan back behind the Sabres' bench in 16 years. They're hoping that Nolan can re-energize this team and resurrect "the hardest working team in hockey."
