BUFFALO, NY - A South Buffalo man arrested for his second DWI will now have to spend some time in jail.

John Jankowiak was sentenced to 15 days in jail, and a $650 fine on Monday for violating his probation.

Jankowiak, a juror from James Corasanti's trial, was arrested last month for a second time for DWI in Orchard Park, just hours after being acquitted of his first DWI charge.

According to Jankowiak's attorney, Michael Santa-Maria, the judge had acquitted Jankowiak of his first DWI charge, but the acquittal was conditional, and getting re-arrested violated the judge's order to lead a law-abiding lifestyle.
