BUFFALO, NY - Today the nation salutesour men and women in uniform.
Veterans Day ceremonies began in Buffalo's Forest Lawn cemetery this morning, one of the many locations hosting events.
The Erie County American Legion and Boy Scouts placed flags on the graves of the cemetery's Field of Valor.
Many businesses are also offering freebies today to veterans and active duty members of the military. Most require that you bring a military ID or proof of service.
