ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.-Williamsville North beat Sweet Home 21-12 Friday night to win the Section 6 Class A championship. The loss ends Sweet Home's amazing 69 game winning streak against Section 6 opponents.

Williamsville North scored firstwhen Ryan Majewski hit Kolbe Hughes for a 49 yard touchdown passin the first quarter. After a Sweet Home turnover, Ryan Majewski found Hughes again for a 15 yard touchdown catch which gave North a 14-0 lead. After a muffed punt by Williamsville North, Sweet Home's Kevin Torrillo threw an interception that led another North score, this time Derek Islerran it in from two yards out.

At halftime the score was 21-0 Williamsville North.

Sweet Home scored on its first possession of the second half when Jordan Evert took it in from two yards out.The Panthers scored with 3:48 remaining in the fourth quarter. Torrillo connected with Brandon Smiley for a seven yard touchdown, but that was all the scoring and the Panthers longwinning streak against Section 6 teams was over.

Spartans quarterback Ryan Majewski was 5-10 for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Derek Isler had 99 yards on 20 carries and one touchdown. Wide receiver Kolbe Hughes had two catches for 64 yards and two touchdowns.

Williamsville North will play a team from Section 5, Rochester in the Far West Regionals next Friday night at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester. Kickoff is scheduled for 8-pm.
