TORONTO, ON.- Toronto Maple Leafs forward David Clarkson has been suspended ten regular season games for his role in the brawl during the Sabres preseason game Sunday.

Clarkson left the bench during the brawl, which results in an automatic 10-game suspension that will be served during the regular season.

Leafs forward Phil Kessel, who swung his stick multiple times at the Sabres John Scott, will face a hearing with the NHL's department of player safety on Tuesday via conference call at 4:00pm.
