El Segundo, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers have signed rookie forward Elias Harris to a multi-year contract.
The deal is reportedly for two years.
Harris played the previous four years at Gonzaga and was a two-time All-West Coast Conference team selection. He averaged 14.6 points and 7.4 rebounds last season to help the Bulldogs to a 32-3 mark and the school's first No. 1 national ranking.
The 6-foot-8 native of Germany, who participated in the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey, played for the Lakers in the summer league.
