PITTSFORD, N.Y. - They come from across the state, around the country and even around the world for the PGA Championship, and the crowds are already showing up to take in the practice rounds.

With the Buffalo Bills having the day off from training camp on Tuesday, PGA practice rounds were the only show in town. Hundreds roamed from hole to hole, taking in the pros preparing for the last major of the season.

The 95th PGA Championship begins on Thursday at Oak Hill Country Club in the Rochester suburb. Many of the fans who were there today said they prefer the practices to the actual event because they get more access to their golf heroes.

Most of the golfers, including fan favorites Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, were more than happy to stop for a moment to sign autographs.

Things will no doubt tighten up in just a couple of days as tournament play runs Thursday through Sunday.
