BUFFALO, N.Y.- Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller could be playing for the stars and stripes again this winter.Miller has been invited to attend Team USA's camp at the end of August.
Along with Team Canada and Team Russia, Team USA announced their orientation camp rosters for the upcoming Olympics on Monday.
Ryan Miller is no stranger to the Olympic competition. He played in the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver. There, Miller helped Team USA win a silver medal and received the Most Valuable Player Honors. He also appeared in the IIHF World Championship in back-to-back years in 2002 and 2003.
In addition to Miller, three of his teammates were also invited to participate at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. Last month, Ville Leino was invited to join Team Finland's camp. Jhonas Enroth and Henrik Tallinder also got the invitation to attend Team Sweden's orientation camp.
Along with Miller, Tallinder also played in the Olympics in Vancouver. While Enroth is a candidate to back up Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist, he backstopped his Sweden to the gold medal at the 2013 World Championship.
