LEWISTON, N.Y.-In a WNY Federation Hockey game played at Niagara University's Dwyer Arena Friday night St. Joe's blanked Niagara Wheatfield 3-0.

With St. Joe's leading 1-0 in the second period # 12 Harlan LoVullo scored to give St. Joe's a two goal lead. The Marauders put the game out of reach when # 7 Dimitrios Gogos scored on the power play in the third period. Senior goalie # 1 Matt Goss recorded 21 saves while posting the shutout.

Marauders head coach Rich Crozier told Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar "It was a complete team effort. We really played a complete game especially after last night's big win against Williamsville North. I was a little worried about a letdown coming off the win against North but its great to get to Christmas unbeaten." St. Joe's and North are traditional hockey rivals. Thursday's game was played in front of a packed house at the Northtown Center in Amherst. St. Joe's won 3-to-1.

St.Joe's is 5-0-1 in Federation play and 7-0-1 overall.
