AMHERST, N.Y.-Tuesday night at Daemen College the Pastor-Cooper High School Showcase tipped off with three games. Sadly missing from the event that he so cherished was David Cooper who passed away unexpectedly in August at the age of 43.

St. Joe's and Kenmore West played a double overtime thriller with the Marauders coming away with a 63-61 win. St. Joe's head coach Mark Simon told Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar "we played gritty. We blew a 10 point lead. We could have folded our tents and gone home. Give them credit for hanging in there."

For Kenmore West # 32 Quinton Campbell led the way with 21 points. He was the game's high scorer. For St. Joe's # 30 Louis Oliveri led the way with 18 points. He was also the game's MVP. Junior # 4 Justin Hollins had 12 points for St. Joe's.

In a touching tribute before the game there was a moment of silence for the late David Cooper. His son Ryan handed the officials the game ball.
