ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.- Randolph ended Maple Grove's season and continued its own, by shutting out the Red Dragons 21-0 in the Section VI Class D title game at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Randolph dominated time of possession, holding the ball for 30:15 compared to Maple Grove's 17:45.

#20 Jordan Dowiasz cruised for 214 yards on 22 carries along with two touchdowns.
Randolph opened the scoring with 39 seconds left in the first quarter as #10 Nathan Beaver made a miraculous 6-yard touchdown catch from #9 Mitch Maycock. The pass looked like it was going to be intercepted by #4 Aaron Germain but the ball bounced out of his hands and into the hands of Beaver, who was on his back near the back of the end zone. The drive was made possible after Germain fumbled the ball in Randolph territory.

The Cardinals would not be done in the first half as Dowiasz found room on the outside for a 37-yard rushing touchdown with 1:11 left in the first half to make the score 14-0 going into the half.

Maple Grove remained stagnant in the second half as Randolph continued to shut down the Red Dragons offense. An interception by #25 Lucas Brown in the fourth quarter set Randolph up with the ball at their own 43 yard line.

Three plays later Dowiasz would strike again for the Cardinals, slashing his way for a 55-yard touchdown run to put Randolph up 21-0 with 7:49 left. The teams would trade possessions towards the end until Randolph was able to run out the clock and complete the shutout on Maple Grove.
