ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.- Bills defensive end Mario Williams responded to early-season criticism with his performance against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Williams totaled two sacks and provided relentless pressure against a porous Cardinals offensive line. He's caught heat in recent weeks for a lack of production, along with the rest of the defensive line. Williams had a combined four tackles in the losses to the Patriots and 49ers.

"Everybody overreacts. It's crazy for me to think so little can have such a reaction, when most of the league is 3-3," Williams said about people's expectations after six weeks.

The Bills are tied the rest of the AFC East at 3-3.

"This is just the seventh game, coming up. There's a lot of football coming up. We haven't even hit mid-season, yet. Anything can happen," said Williams.
