Investigative Post Editor Jim Heaney interviewed Kevin Connor, who heads up two research watchdog organizations, and the Public Acountability Initiative.

His work with Little Sis draws connections between the powerful, both locally and nationally. The Public Accountability Initiative's research has included critical reviews of the former Bass Pro project and a hydrofracking study done by a University at Buffalo center.

In the interview that aired on Saturday Daybreak, Connor discussed:

  • The influence wealthy individuals or organizations have over our elected officials.
  • Which political figures wield the most influence over Western New York.
  • His belief that Governor Cuomo is beholden to private interests.
  • The true drag on the state's economy is the gap between the rich and poor.
