Weeks after it was badly damaged by flooding, Camp Good Days and special times welcomed children battling life threatening diseases for a summer escape in the Finger Lakes.

The flood damage was costly and delayed the opening a few weeks but Western New Yorkers stepped up to donate and volunteer to make sure it would still be open for the summer.

This is the 35th year for Camp Good Days. The head of the charity told 2 On Your Side the camp may stay open late this year to make up for the time lost at the start.
