BUFFALO, NY- Western New Yorkers are taking the time this Memorial Day weekend to honor those who served for this country. A full list of events happening throughout the region is below.

Parades:

  • Batavia Memorial Day Parade (10 a.m., Runs along Main Street from East Town Plaza to St. Joseph's School)
  • Clarence Memorial Day Parade (11 a.m., Runs along Main Street from Clarence High School to Main St. Town Park)
  • Kenmore-Tonawanda Memorial Day Parade (11 a.m., Runs along Delaware Avenue from Lowell Road to Lincoln Boulevard, then turns right towards Elmwood Avenue.
  • Lancaster Memorial Day Parade (9 a.m., Starts at the Park, runs north on Lake Avenue, turns left onto Pleasant Avenue, then turns left onto Central Avenue. Stops at Clark Street.)
  • Leroy Memorial Day Parade (10:30 a.m., Runs along Main Street)
  • West Seneca Memorial Day Parade (10:30 a.m., Runs along Union Road from Willowdale Drive to Legion Parkway)
  • Williamsville Memorial Day Parade (2 p.m., Runs along Main Street from Williamsville South High School to Los Robles Street)

Remembrance Events

  • Buffalo Police Reserves tribute to fallen officers and servicemen (9 a.m., Intersection of Genesee Street and Walden Avenue)
  • Cheektowaga Memorial Day Ceremony (1 p.m. Cheektowaga Veterans Monument)
  • Memorial Day Ceremony with American Legion (8:30 a.m., Forest Lawn Cemetery)
  • Town of West Seneca Veterans Committee Ceremony (9 a.m., St. Matthew's Cemetery)
  • Lamm Post 622/Amherst VFW Post 416 Ceremony (11 a.m., Williamsville Cemetery)
