BUFFALO, N.Y. - Hundreds of people celebrated all things winter at the 4th annual Flurrious festival at Delaware Park.

The free, family-friendly event featured everything from a kickball tournament to face painting and a two-mile fun run.

Ankle-deep snow was the perfect playing field for a quidditch tournament. Players came from all across the Northeast and Canada to play the semi-contact sport inspired by the Harry Potter novels.

"If any city on the planet should have a fantastic winter festival, it's Buffalo, New York. We're famous for our weather, so let's celebrate it," said Thomas Herrera-Mishler, President and CEO of the Olmsted Parks Conservancy.
