Happy National Library Week!

This week is National Library Week. National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA). This year National Library Week runs from April 13-19, 2014.

The theme: Lives change @ your library®.

National Library Week was first sponsored in 1958. Many libraries across the nation – public, school and special – celebrate this national event with special programs and/or events. Check your local library for any special events taking place. Or just visit your local library during National Library Week – and see what's new. You may be surprised what your local library has to offer!

National Library Week is observed every year in the month of April.
