UB Budget Cut Not About Football

UB athletic director Allen Greene says the budget cut to his department is not about enhancing funding for football.


AMHERST, NY- The University at Buffalo is feeling the pain of a two million dollar budget cut.

A number of sports, men's soccer, baseball, swimming and diving and women's rowing have all been eliminated by the school.

UB Athletic director Allen Green told Channel 2 sports Tuesday that the budget cut was not made to enhance funding for the football program.
