The 2nd Round of the Porter Cup has been canceled due to heavy rains. The tournament committee says it's likely the event will be shortened to 54 holes.

Tim Mickelson, Cody Gribble and Brendan Smith are currently tied for the lead at six under par after round one.

The last time the tournament was shortened to 54 holes was back in 1994. Allen Doyle was declared the winner, Tiger Woods finished back in a tie for eighth place, three shots off the lead.
