Stephon Gilmore takes jab at Bills, WGRZ's Jonah Javad responds

It was sunny and 75 in Buffalo on Monday, but that didn't stop an ex-Bills player from throwing shade on his former team.

Stephon Gilmore spent five years with the Bills before signing with the New England Patriots in March.

Everything was fine, until Monday afternoon when Gilmore tweeted:

That's Gilmore, intentionally or not, taking a jab at the Bills for not playing on national TV as much as the Pats.

On Monday night’s sportscast, Channel 2 sports anchor Jonah Javad provided a response on behalf of #BillsMafia:

Don’t get it twisted. The Patriots are on national TV more than the Bills. That's a fact.

But, the word “finally” in Gilmore’s tweet was unnecessary and triggered many Bills fans.

Gilmore was in the Pro Bowl last season and just signed a five-year, $65 million contract to play for Bill Belichick.

He’ll recover just fine from Javad’s response.
