South All Stars Beat North All Stars 13-6

Highlights from the Kensington Lions All Star game.

DEPEW, NY — The 42nd annual Kensington Lions All Star game was played Wednesday night in front of a packed house at Depew High School. 

The South turned the ball over on its first possession. Jayln Nelson from St. Joe's intercepted a Dillon Janca pass to set up the first touchdown. 

Raeqwon Greer scored from 5 yards to give the North team a 6-nothing lead. It stayed that way until the 10:47 mark of the second quarter when the South's Ian Baker ran it in from two yards out to tie the game at 6. The game was tied at 6 at halftime. 

In the third quarter the South's Eric Bartnik scored from five yards out to give the South a 13-6 lead.  The South led by 7 after three quarters. 

The South wins it 13-6. The win snaps the North's 3 game winning streak in the game. The South leads the all time series 23-19.
