Sabres Prospects Lose to Devils 6-3

At Harborcenter Saturday night the Sabres prospects were beaten by the New Jersey Devils prospects 6-3.

BUFFALO, NY- Nick Baptiste scored all 3 goals for the Sabres prospects in their 6-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils prospects Saturday night at Harborcenter. 

The Devils took over after Baptiste gave Buffalo a 2-1 lead late in the second period. Before the third period was even 3 minutes old the Devils had a 5-2 lead, scoring 4 straight goals. Brandon Gignac scored twice for the Devils, while Blake Coleman, John Quenneville, Nathan Bastian and Blake Speers added a goal apiece.

The Devils fired 29 shots at Sabres goaltender Linus Ullmark. 

It was not an impressive  night for Sabres top draft choice Alexander Nylander. He had no points and was on the ice for 3 of the New Jersey goals. 

Sunday night the Bruins prospects play the Devils. Monday night the Sabres play the Bruins.
