Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators have placed forward Paul Gaustad on injured reserve because of an upper body injury.

Gaustad hasn't played since March 12 and this season has just a goal with three assists in 19 games.

The Predators recalled forward Taylor Beck from their American Hockey League affiliate in Milwaukee to fill the roster spot. Beck, who had yet to appear in an NHL game, leads Milwaukee with 41 points in 50 games this season.
