Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Maple Leafs reportedly signed
forward Joffrey Lupul to a five-year extension on Sunday.
TSN of Canada is reporting that the two sides have agreed to the deal which
will pay Lupul $26.25 million over the length of the contract and also
includes a limited no-trade clause.
An eight-year veteran of the NHL, Lupul totaled 25 goals and 42 assists for a
career-high 67 points last season.
The 29-year-old has career totals of 151 goals and 172 assists over 516 games
for Anaheim, Edmonton, Philadelphia and Toronto.
