Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Vancouver Canucks captain Henrik Sedin may
miss Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild after injuring his right ankle
on Tuesday.
Sedin took a shot off his right ankle early in the first period of Tuesday's
win against Nashville.
He went to the locker room for several minutes, but returned to play and
finished the game with two assists. However, he did not practice with the
team on Wednesday.
"We're still waiting on results from a CT scan" said Vancouver head coach
Alain Vigneault. "They did an x-ray and couldn't tell from the x-ray. He was
obviously in a lot of pain."
Sedin has played in a team-record 552 straight games, which is currently the
second longest streak in the league.
On the season, he has 11 goals and a league-leading 46 assists over 53 games
this season.
