Jaguars sign LB Greg Jones

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed linebacker Greg Jones and released wide receiver Anthony Armstrong.

Jones played in 16 games (five starts) for the New York Giants in 2011, recording 31 tackles. He was among the team's final cuts in August.

Armstrong was claimed by the Jaguars on Oct. 31 from Miami, but did not play in a game for Jacksonville.
