Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Spencer Hawes led six Philadelphia players
in double-figures with a season-high 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds
and seven assists, as the 76ers picked up a much-needed, 106-97 victory over
the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.
Evan Turner scored 16 points and grabbed seven boards and Jrue Holiday added
15 points and 11 assists to help the Sixers snap a five-game skid.
Damien Wilkins scored 11 of his 13 points in a critical third quarter and
Dorell Wright donated 15 points in the victory.
Deron Williams had a double-double with 27 points and 13 assists for the Nets,
who had won their last three. Brook Lopez registered 19 points and six
rebounds and Joe Johnson netted 20 points and dished out six helpers in
defeat.
