New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Anthony Davis scored a game-high 21 points
and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the New Orleans Hornets to a 99-63 rout of
the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Ryan Anderson added 14 points and seven rebounds and Jason Smith dropped in 13
points for the Hornets, winners in four of their last five tilts.
Greivis Vasquez added 10 points, eight assists and five rebounds in the win.
Damian Lillard scored 12 points, Victor Claver chipped in 11 and J.J. Hickson
scored 10 for the Trail Blazers, who have dropped five straight.
Portland's Wesley Matthews left early in the first quarter after injuring his
left ankle. Matthews hurt himself after colliding with the Hornets' Austin
Rivers, landing awkwardly on his left leg before being helped off the court.
