Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Timberwolves signed free-
agent forward/center Lou Amundson on Tuesday.
Amundson tallied 3.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Indiana Pacers
last season.
"Lou is an active defender and rebounder who will give us plenty of hustle and
energy when he is on the floor," Minnesota president of basketball operations
David Kahn said. "We feel Lou is a good complement to our existing roster."
Over the course of his six-year career with the Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers,
Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and Pacers, the 29-year-old UNLV product
has career averages of 4.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest.
