Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - Charlotte Bobcats forward Eduardo Najera had
successful surgery Saturday afternoon to repair the fractured frontal bone in
his forehead and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Najera was injured late in the second quarter of Friday's game at Milwaukee by
an inadvertent elbow from Bucks forward Jon Brockman.
He was taken to the hospital, where a CT scan ruled out brain trauma but
confirmed the fracture. Najera was later released and flew back to Charlotte
with the team, having surgery Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital.
The veteran forward averaged 2.6 points in 22 games this season.
