Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp
and manager Don Mattingly were ejected from Thursday's contest with the
Pittsburgh Pirates in the second inning.
With Andre Ethier at the plate, Kemp began barking at home plate umpire Angel
Campos from the dugout before Campos tossed him for arguing balls and strikes.
Kemp sprang from the dugout and had to be restrained by teammates before
eventually leaving the game.
Mattingly then continued the argument with Campos before first base umpire Tim
Tschida tossed the Dodgers' skipper as well.
Kemp and Mattingly both appeared to make contact with members of the umpiring
crew during the altercation, which could result in discipline from the
commissioner's office.
