Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Blue Jays activated pitcher Jesse
Litsch from the 15-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Las Vegas on
Monday.
Litsch went on the DL on May 19 with a right shoulder impingement.
The 6-foot-1, 225-pound right-hander had made eight starts for the Blue
Jays this season, posting a 4-3 record with a 4.66 earned run average.
The Pinellas Park, FL native also made seven starts in the minor leagues this
year, recording a combined 0-2 record with a 6.59 ERA during stints with
Single-A Lansing, Double-A New Hampshire and Las Vegas.
