Tyler Myers to Hear From NHL on Zubrus Hit

BUFFALO, N.Y.-In the third period of Saturday's 2-1 win over the New Jersey Devils Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers drilled Devils forward Dainius Zubrus along the boards. Myers received a two minute minor penalty for an illegal check to the head.

Now Myers will heard from the NHL. Monday he has a hearing scheduled with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday afternoon.

The play occurred at the 7:02 mark of the third period. Zubrus did not leave the game.
