Sabres Sign Brendan Guhle to Rookie Contract

BUFFALO, NY - The Sabres announced today they've signed defenseman Brendan Guhle to a three-year, entry-level contract. Guhle signs his rookie contract almost four weeks after Jack Eichel did.

Guhle was Buffalo's second-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft (51st overall). The defenseman spent the past two seasons with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League.

Last season, Guhle tallied 27 assists, good for second on the team, and 32 points. The Sherwood Park, Alberta native turns 18 on Wednesday.
