Sabres Named 22nd Most Valuable NHL Franchise

BUFFALO, N.Y.- Forbes magazine released their rankings of the most valuable franchises in hockey, naming the Sabres the 22nd most valuable franchise.

The Sabres were valued at $250 million, an increase from the approximately $189 million owners Terry Pegula paid Tom Golisano paid for the team in February of 2011.

The Toronto Maple Leafs were named the most valuable franchise with a value of $1.15 billion.
