BUFFALO, NY - New York Rangers forward Jimmy Vesey will make his first visit to Buffalo after passing on the Sabres this summer.
"It's all in the past and I'm just focused on this season and helping the Rangers," Vesey said.
Vesey was drafted by the Nashville Predators 66th overall in the 2012 draft but played at Harvard all four years. In June, the Predators traded his rights to the Sabres but could not sign him before he hit free agency.
Then in August, Vesey signed with the New York Rangers and is now third among rookies in goals scored with eight.
