Florida Panthers Win Draft Lottery, Sabres Get No. 2 Pick

TORONTO- After months of losing and a season as the worst team in hockey, the Buffalo Sabres won't have the dubious honor of picking first in the NHL draft.

The Florida Panthers won the NHL Draft Lottery Tuesday night over the Sabres, who had the best odds of winning the first pick.

Buffalo will have the No.2 pick in the NHL draft on June 27.
