BUFFALO, NY- It's been just over a week into the formal sale process for the Buffalo Bills, and already Terry and Kim Pegula have emerged as the favorites to win the team.
The couple are one of three confirmed bids for the team, along with the Bon Jovi group and Donald Trump. Their bids however have obstacles to overcome.
A report Tuesday said the original bid from the Bon Jovi group was rejected in part because it didn't have enough promises to keep the team in Western New York and was financially non-competitive. The group re-submitted a bid Wednesday, according to a report in the Toronto Sun.
Trump meanwhile has a history with the NFL, and would likely have difficulty getting approval from fellow owners.
