Report: Bon Jovi bid rejected, group submitting new one

BUFFALO, NY- The Toronto based group led by Jon Bon Jovi had their initial bid for the Buffalo Bills rejected and will reportedly submit a new one, according to a report in the Toronto Sun.

The report says the Bon Jovi bid was well below the $1.3 billion bid reportedly submitted by Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula, and must provide a greater assurance that the group will not move the Bills from Buffalo.

A report in the Buffalo News Monday night said that Bon Jovi had violated the non-disclosure agreement part of the bidding process by writing a letter about his group's intentions with the team in the paper.
