Zach Brown Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Zach Brown now leads the NFL in tackles after a dominating performance at New England.

ORCHARD PARK, NY - Bills' linebacker Zach Brown dominated at New England on Sunday. He was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

"That probably exceeds expectations. We knew he'd play well but I don't think anybody thought he'd play this well," Rex Ryan said.

But linebacker Preston Brown says otherwise.

"I knew it back in OTAs when he first got here. I was like this kid's good so I knew what he was. I knew he could play and how good he could be in this defense," Preston Brown said.

Zach Brown made 18 tackles, three for loss, a sack and forced two fumbles at New England. And this is a guy that wasn't even suppose to be a starter this year.

I was just out there playing to win. Every time I'm out there I play to win," Zach Brown explained.

The Bills are at the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, October 9th. Kick-off is at 4:25 p.m.
