PHILADELPHIA, PA-- Two Philadelphia Police officers have filed a lawsuit against Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy and several others involved in a night club brawl earlier this year.
That's according to WTXF the Fox station in Philadelphia.
A police report obtained by to 2 On Your Side in February says the altercation began over ownership of a bottle of champagne and involved two off-duty Philadelphia police officers being injured.
The police report says one of the off-duty officers was punched and knocked to the ground, and then was punched, kicked, and stomped. McCoy, who was at the club with three other men were investigated for allegedly beating up the police officers.
McCoy was not charged in the incident. Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams said at the time, there were conflicting accounts of what occurred and insufficient evidence to pursue assault charges against McCoy, his friends or the off-duty officers involved.
