ORCHARD PARK, NY- Bills head coach Rex Ryan was vague about the status of top running back LeSean McCoy for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.
McCoy had surgery for a dislocated thumb suffered in Sunday's 16-12 win over the Bengals in Cincinnati. Ryan said about McCoy playing "Well, it would be big for us obviously, right now he's playing as well as any back in the league so yeah that would be nice if he is indeed going to play that would be great for us." Ryan did not put a percentage of the chances of McCoy being able to play Sunday.
Wide receiver Robert Woods suffered a knee sprain in the Cincinnati game and is doubtful for the Jacksonville game. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins is eligible to play this week against the Jaguars but still hasn't been cleared to return to practice..
Safety Robert Blanton is doubtful for the Jacksonville game with a foot injury.
