Bills Defense Dominant, Beat Dolphins 19-0

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.- A dominant performance by the Buffalo Bills defense was the key reason for their win over the Miami Dolphins 19-0.

The Bills defense limited the Miami Dolphins to 103 total yards, registered 7 sacks, a season high for Buffalo, and recorded two interceptions. Buffalo DT Kyle Williams and CB Nickell Robey lead the team with two sacks each.

Buffalo's rushing attack was the main force behind their offense. RB's Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller rushed for 111 and 77 yards respectively, and Jackson scored the game's only touchdown.

Bills QB Thad Lewis was serviceable starting in place of EJ Manuel. He finished the day going 15 for 25 with 193 yards and one interception.

Buffalo's offensive woes inside the red zone continued as they had two chances to put the game away in the fourth quarter, but both drives stalled in the red zone and the Bills were forced to settle for field goals.

The loss is a big one for Miami who needed this win in the hunt for a playoff spot.

Buffalo is now 6-9 and will travel to New England to play the Patriots. Miami is now 8-7 and will play the New York Jets next week.
