Huskies return 14 starters from last year’s league champion and their 8-1 record. They have All-WNY candidates in Dylan Vincent who is one of the area’s most versatile players. Other key players include Luke Chapman, Nick Fratercangelo, Mourace Gayton, Zach Parr, and Icar Simon. They will miss Garrett Boldt. They host Allegany-Limestone, Fredonia/Westfield/Brocton and Maryvale. Should compete for league title and be in the playoffs. Key to the season will be the play of the QB. JVs were 2-7 last season.

Wildcats had a rare losing season in 2016 with its 2-7-0 record. They look to rebound this season. Key players include Chad Biersbach, Carter Post, Zach Dwyer, and Jordan Clesielski all of whom are All-WNY candidates. They return 6 starters on offense and 5 on defense. JVs were 7-1-0 last year and talent from that team will help Brian Wilson’s squad. They host Dunkirk and Albion in the first 2 games. Should improve and compete for a playoff berth. Defense yielded 301 points last year and needs to improve in 2017. Biersbach is an outstanding athlete.

Mike Sarrotori and the Marauders had a dream season advancing to the state semi-finals in 2016 after winning their first sectional and regional titles. They have All-WNY candidates in Peyton Moreland and Jaziah Rivera. Other key players include Isaiah Velez, Jamall Gaines, and Tywon Wright. They will be competitive. Marauders play Depew and Springville in the first 2 games. They host Olean in week 4 in a key league matchup. Marauders are 14-5 in the past 2 seasons. Key to the season will be the play of line.

Rob Valenti returns as a head coach replacing Eric Jantzi. Griffins will miss Ian Baker who made first team All-WNY DB. Key players include Josh Steff, Andrew Lazarus, Austin Lux, Mike Hannon Jr, Sean Barry, Bryson Black, Topher Elkins, and Matt Evans. They return 4 starters on offense and 7 on defense. They play Albion and Dunkirk in the first 2 weeks. Griffins disappointed last season. Key to the season will be play of the QB. Griffins JVs were 2-6 last year. Could be the league's sleeper team.
