Hall Gets One Last Chance at Porter Cup

Cassie Stein is excited to have the defending champion and Rochester's Gavin Hall playing in this year's Porter Cup tournament.

LEWISTON, NY- The Porter Cup golf tournament tees off next week at the Niagara Falls Country Club. Harrison Endycott returns to try to defend his championship.

Rochester's Gavin Hall will play in his sixth tournament. Hall has come so close, finishing third two years ago and losing by one stroke last year.

Tournament director Cassie Stein told Two On Your Side's Jonah Javad  "Hopefully he gets it done this year right ? We're excited to have him back. Its his sixth Porter Cup which I can't believe. He's going to turn pro after this year. Hopefully makes the Walker Cup team and then moves on from there. Its great to have him back. He's such a nice kid just to be around and just watching him grow up obviously has been a lot of fun and his game has really taken shape and we're excited to see what he does here this year."

Its the 59th annual Porter Cup. Endycott will try to become the first back to back winner of the tournament since Bob Smith did it in 1966 and 1967.
