Athens, OH (Sports Network) - All five starters scored in double figures for
the Ohio Bobcats as they routed the Marshall Thundering Herd, 94-57, in a non-
conference matchup at the Convocation Center.
Kellogg hit 5-of-9 shots from beyond the arc for Ohio (9-5). Reggie Keely
added 18 points, Walter Offutt tacked on 13 and Ivo Baltic contributed 12
more. D.J. Cooper had a strong game across the board as he scored 12 points
handed out 17 assists, collected six rebounds and also recorded four steals.
D.D. Scarver scored 13 points and Jamir Hanner added 12 off the bench for
Marshall (7-8). Dennis Tinnon had a game-high 13 rebounds as well.
Ohio came out firing and hit on 74.1 percent of its shots from the field in
the first half, including 6-of-13 from beyond the arc. Marshall couldn't keep
up, shooting just 42.9 percent, as the Thundering Herd trailed 56-24 at the
break.
The Bobcats kept shooting well after intermission making good on 54.5 percent
of their shots from the field to coast to victory.
Ohio forced 26 Marshall turnovers which the Bobcats traded in for 51 points.
