University of Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Six home games, including one
against Richmond football coach Danny Rocco's former school, highlight the
Spiders' 12-game schedule in 2013.
The Spiders are coming off an 8-3 season that saw them improve by five wins
from 2011 and earn a share of the CAA Football title in Rocco's first season.
Rocco will face his former team for the first time when Liberty visits Robins
Stadium on Sept. 21. He compiled a 47-20 record with four Big South Conference
titles during a six-season span with the Flames from 2006-11.
Richmond's other home games will be against VMI (Aug. 31) in non-conference
action, and Maine (Sept. 28), Towson (Oct. 26), Albany (Nov. 2) and William &
Mary (Nov. 23) in the CAA.
The Spiders' road games will be against North Carolina State (Sept. 7) and
Gardner-Webb (Sept. 14) in non-conference games, and James Madison (Oct. 12),
Rhode Island (Oct. 19), Stony Brook (Nov. 9) and Delaware (Nov. 16) in the CAA.
